Hi
I have iWeb '08 which i have not used since buying my Mac over a year ago.
Now i have to put a website together but do not know if can be 'published' to a host server via FTP or another method?

Am i restricted to loading this via MobileMe?

Looking forward to your feedback

Yes, the program has a built-in FTP client.

If you click on the web site name in the left pane, you'll get the FTP page. The "publish to" drop down box will give you the options of publlshing to Mobile Me, a folder, or your own FTP server.

Read more closely, the OP has iWeb '08, which did not have built-in FTP. Only Publishing to a folder will work in his situation.

I'm not talking about iWeb. My ISP, Virgin, requires me to name my home page "index" rather than "Welcome".

But iWeb creates an index.htm file which will be referenced by the webhost. The title of the page is Welcome, and the ultimately referenced file is Welcome.htm, but the first page referenced will be index.htm, so it works fine.
